Two decades ago, I completed my course in hotel management from Nagpur University and kick-started my career in the hospitality industry. This journey has been an amazing learning experience which gave me the exposure of working with some of the most renowned brands and legendary hoteliers in India.

This 20 year long experience has seen quite a few twists and turns as I meandered through the various facets of the industry. From working in the Food and Beverage department in my nascent years to becoming the Vice Principal of Asia Pacific Institute of management, Ahmedabad to Being a GM – I donned many hats. Bringing the experience that I garnered by being part of the faculty of this prestigious educational institute, I joined the Sarovar Hotels and Resorts in 2005 as their L& D manager. This association culminated into a 10 year long bond which was an enriching experience as it gave me the exposure of witnessing the makeover of hotels- their preopening and rebranding of hotels. In these 10 years, I rose from the position of a regional manager to a corporate leader and then eventually to their general manager. The next major milestone in my career was my association with VITS, Mumbai in 2014. Being associated with a leading hotel such as this which houses 195 keys, 11 banquet venues and 2 restaurants brought its own set of unique challenges and platforms for growth. The year 2018 unfolded a new chapter in my professional trajectory when I spearheaded WOW Hotel, Indore as their GM.

Reckoned as one of the leading 5 star hotels in Indore, this hotel opened its doors to the guests in Feb’18. It features an inventor of 125 hotels, 1 coffee shop, 1 specialty restaurant, a Restobar and three banqueting venues. Strategically situated in the vicinity of the city’s major business houses and prominent tourist attractions, the hotel is a suitable stop for travellers.
