Running one of the most successful hotels in Nashik, Express Inn is Mr. Vikas Shelar, Director Express Inn. Starting his career in Express Inn, Mumbai by taking care of accounts, this dynamic youngster found passion in the hospitality industry when in the evening he started seeing the rush for F&B outlets, working himself late in night. Making this 30 room with 5 F&B outlets hotel a success, the owners decided to give him a tough task to handle – their new Express Inn Nashik hotel with 197 rooms. 

In 2013 when he tookover the hotel was doing 45-50% occupancy, with limited MICE and no International presence. In a span of 5 years he has brought occupancy levels to 75-80%, banqueting is 85%, corporate tie-ups spread across India, global tie-ups with Preferred Hotels & Resots, PATA, ICPB. He also launched a Privilege Membership Card.

Under his tenure the hotel has received several awards – to name a few * INDIA HOSPITALITY AWARDS WEST INDIA *LUXURY TRAVEL GUIDE (LONDON) *OUTSTANDING CONTRIBUTION IN HOSPITALITY FROM SURYADATTA INSTITUTE OF MANEGMENT *FROM 6 YEARS CERTIFICATE OF EXELLENCE FROM TRIP ADVISOR ETC. He plans to add more rooms along with a Convention Center. With an MBA in Finance and at just 28 years of age he has made sure the hotel not only runs profitably but also adheres to the basic principles of Indian hospitality 'Atithi Devo Bhava'
